Killer rock and roll coming from the garage saturated transhcancisco-- they got my psych boner ragin. I'm continually surprised by the creative capacity of the bay area-- can you say Mecca?

Anyways, head to The Spyrals bandcamp and listen up -- their self-titled LP is out on the supreme format soon and I'm thinking Terroir is putting out the tape version. Stokin bros. Check the video "Trying to Please" below for a taste of the action.

I have had the pleasure of watching NUDE hone their craft at a number of house-shows and house-partiez over the past year or so-- all to culminate with a big V in Seattle at the Soundoff battle of thee bands. BIG OL' UPS! Anyways, this is potentially the hardest dream pop I have ever heard-- with a surprising wall of sound and technical psych wizardry. Lilting and driving vocals, pert drums... really its just pure sex. Brite futures for these dudes. -- BIG AL (These flicks are from the semi-final round of the EMP's Soundoff.)
